Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China has put forward more specific requirements for anti-corruption work in medical and health care. However, due to the diversification of supervision objects and the professionalism of supervision fields, how to leverage the supervisory power of grassroots party branch disciplinary inspection commissioners in public hospitals has become an important issue. The author took the disciplinary inspection committee members of the grassroots party branch of A Hospital in Shenzhen as the research object. Through questionnaire surveys and individual interviews, the basic information of the disciplinary inspection committee members, their understanding of disciplinary inspection work, and the difficulties and suggestions encountered in their work were understood. At the same time, the work status, understanding of responsibilities, and performance ability of disciplinary inspection commissioners were analyzed, and the shortcomings of disciplinary inspection commissioners in their understanding of responsibilities, performance ability, and work enthusiasm were pointed out. Strategies and suggestions were proposed to improve the performance ability of disciplinary inspection commissioners, including clarifying the positioning of responsibilities, standardizing learning and training, strengthening professional competence, exploring the establishment of scientific evaluation and incentive mechanisms, etc, to provide reference for the extension of strict party governance to grassroots and strengthening the construction of disciplinary inspection commissioners in public hospital party branches.
