Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of resuscitation management mode and nursing countermeasures for patients with intravenous general anesthesia in the daytime operating room. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 100 elderly patients with gastroenteroscopy under intravenous general anesthesia enrolled in Dongguan Guancheng Hospital from January to June 2022 and from January to June 2023. The patients were grouped according to different admission times. A control group (50 cases, receiving routine nursing) from January to June 2022 was analyzed. From January to June 2023, an observation group (50 cases) received resuscitation management mode and nursing countermeasures. Postoperative resuscitation time, pain degree, vital signs, nursing satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative resuscitation time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After operation, the visual analogue scale (VAS) score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). During and after operation, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of resuscitate management mode and nursing countermeasures can effectively promote the physical recovery of patients, reduce pain, stabilize vital signs, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve nursing satisfaction, which is of great significance for elderly patients undergoing gastroenteroscopy under intravenous general anesthesia.
