〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the value of clinical pharmacy management in rational application of cephalosporins. Methods 80 patients treated with cephalosporins in Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Area Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into two groups with 40 cases each according to random number table method. Patients in the control group exercised the routine medication guidance of cephalosporin antibiotics, while patients in the observation group took comprehensive clinical pharmacy management, compared the treatment compliance of patients in the two groups, counted the subjective cognition level of cephalosporin antibiotics of patients in the two groups, and analyzed the adverse reactions of patients in the two groups of patients with specific medication errors, missed administration and repeated administration. Results The overall compliance level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of the subjective cognitive parameters of cephalosporins in the observation group were higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The total proportion of wrong administration, missed administration and repeated administration in the observation group was lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the application of cephalosporins, comprehensive clinical pharmacy management can significantly improve the treatment compliance of patients, improve the subjective cognitive level of patients, and reduce the incidence of irrational drug use events and adverse reactions.
