Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the curative effect of Feilike oral liquid combined with compound ipratropium bromide for aerosol inhalation in children with bronchial pneumonia. Methods A total of 60 children with bronchial pneumonia admitted to Ruijin People's Hospital were enrolled between January 2021 and December 2022. According to random number method, they were divided into an observation group (31 cases) and a control group (29 cases). The control group was treated with compound ipratropium bromide for aerosol inhalation, while the observation group was addiitonally treated with Feilike oral liquid on the basic of the control group. The clinical curative effect, symptoms remission time, pulmonary function indexes [forced expiratory volume in first second (FEV1), peak expiratory flow (PEF), maximal mid–expiratory flow curve (MMEF)], blood gas indexes [partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2), partial pressure of carbon dioxide in artery (PaCO2), arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2)], serum inflammatory factors and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were observed and compared. Results The total response rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (93.55 % vs 79.31 %) (P < 0.05). The remission time of symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, lung rales, fever) in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, FEV1, PEF and MMEF in the two groups were increased, which were higher in the observation group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, PaCO2 was decreased in the two groups, which was lower in the observation group than that in the control group, while PaO2 and SaO2 were increased, which were higher in the observation group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), C-reactionprotein (CRP) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in the two groups were decreased, which were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of Feilike oral liquid combined with compound ipratropium bromide for aerosol inhalation is good in children with bronchial pneumonia, which has more advantages in terms of improving symptoms, inflammation, pulmonary function and blood gas indexes, and has certain safety.
