Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To analyze the effect of Quyu Zhitong prescription on headache caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods A total of 98 patients with SAH headache admitted to Kaifeng People's Hospital from September 2019 to September 2021 were selected as research objects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group with 49 cases in each group using random number table. The control group was treated with conventional symptomatic treatment combined with cerebrospinal fluid replacement, and the observation group was treated with Quyu Zhitong prescription on the basis of the treatment. The clinical efficacy, numerical rating scale (NRS) score, National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) score, Barthel index (BI) score and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the NRS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the score of BI in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, NIHSS score was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Quyu Zhitong prescription is effective in treating SAH headache, which can effectively relieve the pain symptoms of patients, promote the recovery of nerve function, ensure the ability of daily life, and have good safety.
