〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the effect of pelvic inflammation decoction combined with Kangfuyan capsule in the treatment of damp heat and blood stasis type of pelvic inflammation. Methods A total of 84 patients with damp heat and blood stasis type pelvic inflammatory disease diagnosed and treated in Zhangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to June 2022 were randomly divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was treated with Kangfuyan capsule and pelvic inflammation decoction on the basis of the control group, and the clinical efficacy, inflammatory factor levels and clinical symptom score changes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the level of interleukin-10 (IL-10) in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the levels of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores of increased leucorrhea, uterine tenderness and pelvic effusion in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The combined application of Kangfuyan capsule and pelvic inflammation decoction in patients with damp heat stasis type has an ideal effect, which can effectively reduce the clinical symptom score and inflammatory factor level of patients.
