Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To analyze the effect of chest X-ray examination for bronchopneumonia in children. Methods A total of 80 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to Xuchang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as research objects, and were divided into two groups according to age: ≤ 5 years old group and > 5 years old group, with 40 cases in each group. The clinical manifestations and chest X-ray examination imaging features of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results The proportion of body temperature ≤ 38.5 °C in ≤ 5 years old group was higher than that in > 5 years old group, and the proportion of body temperature > 38.5 °C was lower than that in > 5 years old group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of dry rales in ≤ 5 years old group was lower than that of > 5 years old group, and the proportion of wet rales was higher than that of > 5 years old group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of wheezing in ≤ 5 years old group was higher than that of > 5 years old group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the proportion of chest X-ray examination imaging features of type Ⅰ, type Ⅱ, type Ⅲ and type Ⅳ in the group ≤ 5 years old compared with that in the group > 5 years old (Z = 0.722, P > 0.05). Conclusion When children with bronchopneumonia undergo chest X-ray examination, children of different ages have similar imaging features, but the clinical manifestations of children are not the same, so it is necessary to combine various methods to determine the condition of children.
