Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of cluster oral nursing intervention on the control effect of dental plaque and nursing satisfaction of patients with periodontal disease. Methods A total of 110 patients with periodontal disease admitted to the Stomatology Department of Zhengzhou People's Hospital from October 2018 to October 2019 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 55 cases in each group. The control group received routine oral care, and the observation group received cluster oral care intervention. The effect of dental plaque control and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The gingival bleeding index, dental plaque index and periodontal pocket probing depth in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of cluster oral nursing intervention in the nursing of patients with periodontal disease can improve the effect of dental plaque control, standardize their oral health behavior, and improve the satisfaction of patients with nursing work.
