〔Abstract〕 In vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF–ET) has brought hope to infertile patients, but its implantation success rate is only about 50%. Some patients cannot succeed even after multiple cycles, and it is difficult to meet people's expectations.Professor LI Li-yun has extensive clinical experience in improving the success rate of IVF-ET in the application of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment. And seeks out the source for the patients who failed IVF-ET implantation before ovulation induction or freeze-thaw embryo transfer. The treatment is to fertilize the fetus with the method of tonifying the kidney and filling the essence to obtain highquality embryos, and the uterine cell membrane is nursed in stages to improve the endometrial receptivity. After transplantation, the method of nourishing the kidney, strengthening the spleen, nourishing blood and anti-fetus is used to maintain pregnancy. In addition to oral TCM, the combination of acupuncture, plum-blossom needles, medicine pot, TCM application, retention enema and emotional adjustment are selected according to the clinical symptoms of patients at different periods to improve the success rate of IVF-ET.
