〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate Huanglian Shuwei decoction combined with conventional triple therapy in the treatment of spleen stomach damp heat syndrome helicobacter pylori gastritis patients. Methods A total of 120 patients with helicobacter pylori gastritis with spleen stomach damp heat syndrome admitted to Fujian Xiapu Funing Hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given triple therapy, and the observation group was given Huanglian Shuwei decoction combined with triple therapy. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.36 %, higher than 83.64 % of the control group, and the positive rate of helicobacter pylori in the observation group was 7.27 %, lower than 27.27 % of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, serum interleukin-10 (IL-10), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) and IL-17 levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Huanglian Shuwei decoction combined with conventional triple therapy in the treatment of spleen stomach damp heat syndrome helicobacter pylori gastritis patients, can improve the levels of serum inflammatory factors, reduce the TCM syndrome score and the positive rate of helicobacter pylori, and improve the clinical efficacy.
