Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the effect of painless delivery on maternal fever and complications. MethodsA total of 70 pregnant women who underwent vaginal delivery in the First People's Hospital of Nankang District of Ganzhou City from August 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to different research methods, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 35 cases in each group. The observation group was given painless delivery, and the control group was given routine painless delivery. The blood loss, postpartum pain, labor time, neonatal Apgar score, transfer to cesarean section rate, fever rate, maternal and infant complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total time of labor and the first stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the amount of postpartum bleeding and neonatal Apgar score between the two groups (P > 0.05). The degree of postpartum pain in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Z = 3.476, P < 0.05). The maternal fever rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the rate of conversion to cesarean section and the incidence of maternal and infant complications were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). ConclusionPainless delivery can shorten the duration of vaginal delivery, reduce the degree of postpartum pain, reduce the rate of cesarean section and the incidence of maternal and infant complications, but it will increase the rate of maternal fever, which needs to be paid attention to in clinical practice.
