Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Danggui Shaoyao powder treatment of female urethral syndrome. Methods A total of 254 female patients with urethral syndrome admitted to Fangshan Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from January 2011 to December 2021 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group. Among them, 138 cases in the observation group were treated with Danggui Shaoyao powder plus or minus therapy, and 116 cases in the control group were treated with western medicine. The changes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom score, overactive bladder symptom score (OABSS), quality of life score (QOL), total effective rate and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were observed. Results The scores of TCM symptoms in the two groups decreased to varying degrees after treatment, and the scores of TCM symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P < 0.05). OABSS and QOL scores in the two groups decreased to varying degrees after treatment, and OABSS and QOL scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.48%, higher than 78.45% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Routine examinations of blood routine, liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram were performed before and after treatment in the two groups, and no adverse reactions related to this study were found. Conclusion Danggui Shaoyao powder has a significant effect in the treatment of female urethral syndrome, and can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, OABSS and QOL scores.
