Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of emergency rapid response team model on nursing timeliness in severe trauma patients. Methods A total of 230 cases of severe trauma patients treated in the emergency department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from March 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects. According to the time of visit, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 115 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine intervention, and patients in the observation group received emergency rapid response team model intervention. The nursing effectiveness, completion of life support, nursing quality and incidence of adverse conditions were compared between the two groups. Results The time of nursing measures in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The 8 min completion rate of advanced life support and 30 min completion rate of deterministic surgery in the observation group were 90.43% and 83.48%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P < 0.05). The score of emergency nursing quality in the observation group was (91.52 ± 3.42) points, which was significantly higher than (74.18 ± 5.39) points in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). The incidence rates of complaint events, dispute events, risk accidents and error events in the observation group were 0.00%, 0.87%, 0.87% and 1.74%, respectively, which were significantly lower than 2.61 %, 4.35 %, 3.48 % and 4.35 % in the control group, with statistical significances (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of emergency rapid response team model for severe emergency trauma patients can effectively improve the nursing timeliness and nursing quality, and has important significance to reduce the incidence of adverse events.
