Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To observe the clinical effect of auricular pressure combined with amiodarone on paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 80 patients diagnosed with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation admitted to the emergency department of Beijing First Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from June 2016 to May 2019 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given intravenous amiodarone treatment, and the observation group was given auricular pressure on the basis of the control group, observed for 3 h, the therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients were compared, and the heart rates before treatment and 1 h, 2 h, 3 h after treatment were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.0 %, higher than 82.5 % of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment for 1 h, 2 h and 3 h, the heart rates of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Auricular acupuncture combined with amiodarone in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is more effective than amiodarone alone.
