Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of Tongbian scraping on the clinical efficacy of sub-healthy people with damp_x005fheat constitution. Methods A total of 120 patients with sub-healthy damp-heat constitution who received diagnosis and treatment from April 2020 to June 2021 in Changde First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group adopted the methods of health education and adjusted their lifestyles, mainly in terms of diet, exercise, and health care. The observation group was treated with Tongbian scraping on the basis of the control group. After 12 times of Tongbian scraping treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome in the observation group was 93.30%, higher than 81.70% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The score of the observation group after treatment was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of damp-heat constitution improvement in the observation group was 90.00 %, higher than 75.00 % of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Tongbian scraping has obvious intervention effect on damp-heat constitution, and can improve the symptoms of damp-heat constitution, such as fullness of chest and stuffiness, heavy drowsiness, easy fatigue, loss of appetite, thirst and not wanting to drink water, short and red urination, and sticky stool.
