Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the clinical effect of calcitriol injection in the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) in hemodialysis patients. Methods 40 hemodialysis SHPT patients treated in the Second People's Hospital of Huadu District of Guangzhou from October 2018 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 20 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with medium dose calcitriol, while the control group was treated with sinakase. The changes of blood calcium, phosphorus and intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) levels and curative effects were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of iPTH in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the levels of blood calcium and phosphorus in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant between the two groups (P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion Calcitriol pulse therapy has a significant effect on hemodialysis SHPT patients, which can effectively improve the levels of blood calcium, blood phosphorus and iPTH.
