Abstract:〔Abstract〕Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and mechanism of xiaoqinglong decoction and yupingfeng powder in the treatment of allergic rhinitis (AR). Methods A total of 87 AR patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Shenzhen from 2015 to 2020 were randomly divided into observation group ,with 45 cases, and control group with 42 cases. The observation group was treated with xiaoqinglong decoction and yupingfeng powder, and the control group was treated with western medicine alone. The total effective rate and total nasal symptom score (TNSS) of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%, which was higher than 63.29% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, TNSS score of the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The clinical efficacy of xiaoqinglong decoction and yupingfeng powder in the treatment of AR is significantly better than that of the western medicine.
