Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To observe the clinical effect of Dingjing Decoction combined with sibelium in the treatment of pure menstrual migraine (PMM). Methods A total of 90 patients with PMM admitted to Sanming Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from September 2019 to September 2020 were randomly divided into two groups, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sibelium, and the observation group was treated with Dingjing Decoction combined with sibelium. The treatment effect, headache degree [visual analogue scale (VAS) score] estrogen [follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH), estradiol(E2), luteinizing hormone (LH)] levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); After treatment, VAS score of headache in the observation group (2.43 ± 0.26) was lower than that in the control group (4.35 ± 0.91), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The levels of FSH and LH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of E2 was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Dingjing Decoction combined with sibelium is effective in the treatment of patients with PMM period, which can effectively regulate estrogen level and promote symptom improvement.
