Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in elderly patients with sepsis myocardial injury. Methods A total of 30 patients with septic myocardial injury who were admitted to Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected according to the random grouping method, the patients were divided into conventional treatment group and combined treatment group, with 15 cases in each group. The conventional treatment group was treated with conventional standardized treatment (including cluster treatment), and the combined treatment group was treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The changes in cardiac function, inflammatory factors and cardiac function indicators before and after treatment in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results Before treatment, the procalcitonin (PCT), high-sensitivity troponin T (hs-cTnT), N-terminal precursor B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and cardiac output index (CI) levels, the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05); After treatment, the levels of hs-cTnT, NT-proBNP and PCT in the combined treatment group were significantly lower than those in the conventional treatment group, and the CI levels in the combined treatment group were significantly higher In the conventional treatment group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in acute physiology and chronic health score II (APACHE II) and sequential organ failure score (SOFA) score between the two groups (P > 0.05). SOFA score was better than the conventional treatment group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in left ventricular end-systolic volume index (LVESVI) and left ventricular end-diastolic volume index (LVEDVI) between the two groups (P > 0.05). All were better than the conventional treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of elderly patients with septic myocardial injury, the application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine can obviously improve the relevant indicators of patients and improve the clinical treatment effect of patients.
