Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the effects of hericium extract granule combined with triple therapy on nutritional status of helicobacter pylori (Hp) associated gastropathy in children. Methods A total of 100 children with HP related gastropathy admitted to the First Maternity and Child Health Hospital of Huizhou from April 2019 to April 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 children in each group. The control group was treated with triple therapy, and the observation group was treated with hericium hericium extract on the basis of triple therapy, and the nutritional status and inflammation levels of the two groups were observed. Results There was no significant differences in the levels of ferritin (SF), prealbumin (PA), hemoglobin (Hb) and albumin (ALB) between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the levels of SF, PA, Hb and ALB in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α, CRP, interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Hericium extract granules combined with triple therapy can effectively reduce the level of inflammatory factors and improve nutritional status in children with HP associated gastropathy.
