Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To compare the effects of uterine artery embolization (UAE) and uterine artery chemoembolization (UACE) on recovery time of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) and complications in patients with cicatricial pregnancy (CSP). Methods A total of 86 CSP patients admitted to Xinhua District People's Hospital of Pingdingshan from June 2017 to February 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received UAE and the observation group received UACE. The recovery time of symptoms and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The recovery time of HCG, the disappearance time of intrauterine mass, the recovery time of menstruation and the disappearance time of vaginal bleeding in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Compared with UAE, UACE can promote the postoperative recovery of CSP patients, shorten the recovery time of HCG, and ensure the safety.
