Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To analyze the effect of bronchial thermoplasty in the treatment of severe asthma. Methods A selection of 60 patients with severe asthma admitted to Gaozhou People's Hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 30 cases each group. The control group was given conventional treatment, and the observation group was given bronchial thermoforming treatment on the basis of the control group. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the frequency of asthma attacks, the frequency of acute asthma attacks, and the frequency of hospitalizations for asthma attacks in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); Before treatment, There were no significant differences between in the first second hard work of the two groups expiratory volume occupancy vital capacity ratio (FEV1/FVC), FEV1% and FEV1 (P > 0.05). After treatment, the FEV1/FVC, FEV1%, and FEV1 of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); Before treatment, the difference in quality of life scores between the two groups of patients were no statistically significant (P > 0.05). After treatment, the quality of life scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Bronchial thermoforming treatment for patients with severe asthma can significantly improve patients' clinical symptoms, improve lung function, and enhance clinical efficacy.
