Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the clinical effect of Pranoprofen combined with sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of dry eye. Methods 500 patients with dry eye who were admitted to the First People's Hospital of Zhaoqing from February 2020 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into two groups. 250 patients in the control group were treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops, 250 patients in the observation group were treated with sodium hyaluronate combined with pranoprofen, and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.0%, which was higher than 91.2% of the control group (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the dry eye symptom scores between the two groups (P > 0.05); after treatment, the dry eye symptom scores of the two groups decreased, and the scores in the observation group was lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in tear secretion test filter paper wetting length and tear film rupture time between the two groups (P > 0.05); after treatment, the tear secretion test filter paper wetting length and tear film rupture time of the two groups were significantly longer than those before treatment, and the indexes in the observation group was better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion For patients with dry eye, the combination of pranoprofen and sodium hyaluronate can achieve ideal results in clinical practice, which can not only improve the symptoms of dry eye in patients, but also improve the stability of the tear film.
