Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To study the effect of care after abortion on the rate of unintended pregnancy and repetitive abortion after induced abortion. Methods A total of 98 patients with unintended pregnancy requiring induced abortion received by Heyuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into observation group (50 cases) and the control group (48 cases) according to the choice of postoperative contraceptive methods. Patients in the control group used condoms, safety period, external ejaculation and other contraceptive methods after operation, and patients in the observation group took (compound short-acting oral contraceptive) COC or high-efficiency contraceptive measures such as intrauterine devices (IUDS) after operation. The accidental pregnancy rate and repetitive abortion rate of the two groups were compared. Results After the care and service after miscarriage, patients in the observation group had more correct contraception than the control group in half a year, and the number of unintended pregnancies and repeated abortions were less than those in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Post-abortion care can improve the correct use of contraceptive methods by patients, reduce the rate of unintended pregnancy and repeated abortion, and protect women's reproductive health.
