Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the therapeutic efficacy of inhaled compound ipratropium bromide solution combined with inhaled budesonide suspension in treating bronchial asthma. Methods 60 patients with bronchial asthma treated in Enping Branch of Jiangmen Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected and divided randomly into the control group and the observation group, each with 30 cases. The control group was treated with budesonide suspension nebulized inhalation, and the observation group was treated with inhalation of compound ipratropium bromide solution on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients after 7 days of treatment, the improvement time of clinical symptoms, signs (such as cough, wheezing, and lung wheezing), and the improvement of lung function after 14 days of continuous treatment and record the adverse events during the study period. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 95.00 %, which was higher than 77.50 % of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The improvement time of cough, asthma and lung wheezing of observation group was shorter than that of control group, the difference were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of forced expiratory volume (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC) and the ratio of forced expiratory volume to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) between the two groups (P > 0.05). After 14 days of treatment, the levels of FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC of observation group were better than those of control group, the difference had statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion Inhaled compound ipratropium bromide solution combined with inhaled budesonide suspension has a significant efficacy in treating bronchial asthma. It can effectively improve the symptoms of cough, asthma and the signs of lung wheezing as well as the lung function.
