Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To observe the effect of percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods 107 AMI patients admitted to Zhumadian Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected, and the patients were divided into a control group (53 cases, drug thrombolytic therapy) and an observation group (54 cases) according to the random lottery method. Drug thrombolysis plus percutaneous coronary intervention), the efficacy and adverse events of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.15%, which was higher than 84.91% in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); The adverse event rate of the observation group was 5.56%, which was lower than 18.87% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of AMI patients with percutaneous coronary intervention can significantly relieve the symptoms of patients and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
