Abstract:〔Abstract〕Objective To analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) in the treatment of perforation of the pulp floor. Methods A total of 100 patients with pulp floor perforation admitted to Jiangmen Stomatological Hospital and Jiangmen Wuyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2021 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group repaired the floor of the pulp chamber with conventional materials, and the observation group repaired it with mineral MTA. Comparative analysis of the feasibility and effectiveness of mineral MTA in the treatment of pulp floor perforation. Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.0%, which was higher than 84.0% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); The adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 2.0%, which was lower than 14.0% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); The total satisfaction rate of dental aesthetics in the observation group was 96.0%, which was higher than 80.0% the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of MTA as a repair material for the perforation of the pulp chamber floor can effectively repair damaged teeth, with fewer adverse reactions and high tooth aesthetics.
