〔Abstract〕Objective To observe and analyze the efficacy of gabapentin and tramadol in the treatment of neuropathic pain (NP) patients with different types of pain. Methods 120 patients with different types of NP who were diagnosed and treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected. According to the different clinical treatment methods of the patients, they were divided into two groups: control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. Among them, the observation group was treated with gabapentin combined with tramadol, and the control group was treated with tramadol alone. The treatment effect of the two groups of patients was observed and compared. Results After 3 months and 6 months of treatment, the visual analogue scoring (VAS) score reduction of the observation group was significantly greater than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of gabapentin and tramadol in the treatment of different types of pain with NP is very effective and can effectively relieve the pain of patients.
