〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the value of Shenqi Dihuang Decoction in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with blood stasis and Qi and yin deficiency. Methods From October 2018 to March 2020, 118 T2DM patients with blood stasis and Qi and yin deficiency were selected from Longjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 59 cases in each group. On the basis of routine treatment, the control group was given metformin treatment, and the observation group was given Shenqi Dihuang Decoction. The blood glucose indexes and treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with before treatment, the levels of blood glucose indexes in the two groups were decreased after treatment, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 96.61%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (77.67%). The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of Shenqi Dihuang Decoction with blood stasis and Qi and yin deficiency for patients T2DM, which can effectively control and reduce the blood glucose of patients, so that the clinical symptoms of patients can be alleviated.
