Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To evaluate the value and effect of electroacupuncture combined with acupoint application in the treatment of apoplectic hemiplegia. Methods 90 patients with stroke hemiplegia treated in Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2018 to January 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with electroacupuncture and the observation group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with acupoint application. The curative effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results After treatment, the scores of MTT and ADL in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the score of NIHSS was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05); The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.77%, higher than 71.11% of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The clinical value of electroacupuncture combined with acupoint application in the treatment of apoplectic hemiplegia is high. It can promote the recovery of hemiplegic symptoms, promote the recovery of muscle strength and improve the prognosis of patients.
