Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of diabetes in Yingkou residents, and to provide reference for the prevention and development of diabetes in Yingkou residents. Methods From June 2015 to September 2015, a multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 3616 residents from 6 counties and districts of Yingkou City. Descriptive statistical analysis, univariate analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to calculate the influence of different risk factors on diabetes. Results Among 3616 residents in Yingkou city, 342 residents aged 18 and above were diagnosed with diabetes, with a prevalence rate of 9.5 %. Univariate analysis showed that age, hypertension, smoking status, dyslipidemia, restricted intake of oil and waist circumference were related to diabetes. Multivariate analysis showed that age, restricted intake of oil, dyslipidemia, hypertension and waist circumference were all risk factors for diabetes in Yingkou residents except smoking. Conclusion The prevalence of diabetes in yingkou residents is high, and the prevalence in female is higher than that in male, so attention should be paid to the prevention of diabetes in female.
