Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To analyze the performance of thyroid ultrasound diagnosis in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods 50 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the Kaifeng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected for the observation group, and 50 healthy subjects were selected for the control group. All subjects were enrolled in the study. Ultrasound diagnosis of thyroid was used, to evaluate and compare the characteristics of thyroid ultrasound diagnosis of the two groups of subjects. Results The rate of abnormal thyroid function among type 2 diabetes patients was higher than that of healthy subjects, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The incidence of abnormal thyroid function in type 2 diabetic patients is relatively high. In clinical practice, attention should be paid to assessing the changes of thyroid function in patients and preventing thyroid dysfunction.
