Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To understand the prenatal infection status of hepatitis B virus, Treponema pallidum and human immunodeficiency virus in pregnant women in Fuzhou, so as to provide reference basis for formulating effective prevention and control measures, reducing mother to child vertical transmission and promoting the health of women and children. Methods A total of 36706 pregnant women who received free screening for AIDS, syphilis and hepatitis B from July 2019 to June 2021 in Fujian provincial maternity and child care center were retrospectively analyzed. Results The positive rates of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), Treponema pallidum antibody (TP-Ab) and human immunodeficiency virus antibody (HIV-Ab) in 36706 pregnant women were 9.47%, 0.38% and 0.01%, respectively. The HBsAg positive rate of less than 25-year-old pregnant women was the lowest, which was 5.59%, and the HBsAg positive rate increased gradually with the increase of age. The positive rates of TP-Ab in less than 25-year-old group and pregnant women more than 35 years old were higher, which were 0.56% and 0.75% respectively. Conclusion The positive rate of hepatitis B in pregnant women in Fuzhou area is relatively high. Screening for hepatitis B, syphilis and AIDS in pregnant women is helpful for blocking and reducing the risk of mother to child transmission of infectious diseases in time.
