Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the clinical effect of floating needle combined with cupping therapy on acute osphyalgia. Methods A total of 60 patients with acute osphyalgia treated in Guangzhou 12th People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 were randomly divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture, and the observation group was treated with floating needle plus cupping therapy. The clinical efficacy, visual analogue scale (VAS) score and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score were compared between the two groups. Results After 2 weeks of treatment, the effective rate of observation group was 93.33%, significantly higher than 70.00 % of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); VAS score and ODI score in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion Floating needle combined with cupping therapy has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of acute osphyalgia, with obvious relief of lumbar pain and good recovery of osphyalgia.
