〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the effect of entecavir combined with Biejiajian pill in the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis B. Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic viral hepatitis B admitted to Houjie Hospital of Dongguan city from April2018 to April 2020 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to simple randomization method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group (30 cases) was treated with entecavir, and the observation group (30 cases) was treated with Biejiajian pill on the basis of entecavir treatment. The levels of HEPATITIS B virus (HBV) - DEoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and liver elasticity were compared before treatment and at 4, 8 and 12 weeks after treatment. Results After 4, 8 and 12 weeks of treatment, hbV-DNA and liver elasticity (LSM) levels in 2 groups were decreased compared with before treatment, and hbV-DNA and LSM levels in observation group were lower than those in control group at the same time, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Entecavir combined with Biejiajian pill can effectively reduce HBV - DNA level and regulate liver elasticity in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B.
