〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of liangxue Xiaoswelling plaster on the convalescent period after the fall injury. Methods A total of 100 patients with fall injury admitted to Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to simple random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with lofen Zein sustained-release tablets, and the observation group was treated with Lofen Zein sustained-release tablets combined with cooling blood detumation plaster. The total effective rate, swelling subside time and visual analogue scale (VAS) score of 2 groups were evaluated. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 92.00 %, higher than 76.00 % of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The time of swelling resolution in observation group was (5.35 ± 1.21) d, shorter than that in control group (6.36 ± 1.67) d, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, VAS scores in both groups decreased to varying degrees, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The adjuvant treatment of Liangxue Xiaoswelling plaster has good therapeutic effect in the convalescence period after the fall injury, shorten the swelling subside time, reduce the pain score and promote the recovery of patients.
