Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the application effect of glipizide controlled-release tablets combined with metformin hydrochloride enteric-coated capsules for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and to analyze its value. Methods 102 diabetic patients who were treated in the Third People's Hospital of Luohe City from January 2019 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into two groups, each with 51 cases, one of which was treated with Glycine Pyrazine controlled-release tablets were treated (single use group), and the other group was treated with metformin hydrochloride enteric-coated capsules on this basis (combined group). Both groups of patients were treated continuously for 3 months, and the blood glucose levels, incidence of adverse reactions and clinical efficacy were observed before and after treatment. Results The blood glucose levels of patients in the single-use group and the combination group were not statistically different before treatment (P > 0.05); after treatment, the blood glucose levels of the combination group were significantly better than those of the single-use group, and the difference was statistically significant Academic significance (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the single-use group was higher than that of the combination group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the total effective rate of treatment in the combination group was significantly higher than that of the single-use group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Glipizide controlled-release tablets combined with metformin hydrochloride enteric-coated capsules have a good application effect on patients with T2DM, which can effectively control their blood glucose levels and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
