〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Danshu capsule combined with Siwei Jiangmei tablets in the treatment of chronic cholecystitis and its effect on gallbladder function and inflammatory factor levels. Methods A total of 78 patients with chronic cholecystitis admitted to the 990th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of the People's Liberation Army from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was treated with Danshu capsule combined with Siwei Jiangmei tablets.The clinical efficacy, gallbladder function, levels of inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6)] and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.87%, which was higher than 79.49% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); after treatment, the thickness of gallbladder wall in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the gallbladder emptying rate was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); after treatment, the CRP and IL-6 of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 10.26%, compared with 7.69% in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion Danshu capsule combined with Siwei Jiangmei tablets can enhance the therapeutic effect of chronic cholecystitis, reduce the inflammatory reaction of gallbladder and promote the recovery of gallbladder function, which is safe and reliable.
