Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the commonness and difference of the Ability of Daily Living (ADL) evaluations between LSADL scale and Barthel Index for stroke patients in Shenzhen rehabilitation medical institutions. Methods The information of stroke patients from different levels of medical institutions in Shenzhen were collected through Internet and the ADL of stroke patients were assessed by LSADL and Barthel scales respectively. Results Compared with Barthel scale, the LSADL scale takes advantage of more detailed classifi cation, and can identify stroke patients with less severe dysfunction. Conclusion The results of LSADL are consistent with that of Barthel scale, and LSADL scale provides much fi ne grading, which promises a good clinical diagnostic value.
